These are some pictures of the outfits I wore to shop some produce, plants and flowers in the Mercato that is close to my house.
When the market ends, a group of volunteers from an association called “Recup” that fights against food waste. The volunteers collect the produce that the markers throw away, select the ones that are still ok, and share them with whoever wants them. 11 tons is the amount of food they recover weekly. (January. 2025).
