Flowers always catch my attention, even though I cannot grow them on my balcony. Maybe that is why I take so many pictures of them. Sometimes it is because of their color, sometimes because the composition looks perfect, and sometimes simply because there is a little bug resting on a petal. Every flower feels like a small surprise waiting to be noticed.
Many of these photos were taken while traveling. In Levanto, close to Favignana in Sicily, the bright pink flowers overlooking the sea felt almost unreal. Sicily is full of beautiful wild flowers and real, natural blooms that appear in the most unexpected corners.
Some pictures come from Stresa, a charming town you can visit on a day trip. Its gardens are filled with pretty flowers, soft colors, and quiet paths. I took many of my favorite shots there.
Other images were captured in a London market, where buckets of fresh flowers turned into a full floral palette. And the rest come from small gardens around different towns, moments where I simply stopped and took a photo because something about that flower was special.
This collection is not about perfect photography. It is about paying attention. About natural flowers, wild flowers, daisies, roses, lotus blooms, and blossoms that made me pause for a moment.
I hope you enjoy my collection of flowers as much as I enjoyed finding them.
