Kathmandu Litehaul 38L.
I love it because of many reasons, I’ll try to write all of them down here:
- It’s comfortable.
- It is the perfect size for the Ryanair Cabin Baggage.
- It has a pocket on the top that fits the headphones, charger, and other things we need to have easy access to.
- The main compartment is enormous, and it’s easy to add everything organized in packing cubes.
- It has a pocket for the laptop, it fits up to a 17″ laptop.
- It has a side pocket for the bottle of water.
- If you need to check it in, you can hide the strips and to protect them.
- It has a long stripe so that you can carry it as a crossbody backpack.
- It’s easy to carry if you end up booking an apartment on the fifth floor without a lift (really possible if you travel to Lisbon, for example)
- This one is personal, but sometimes, when you need to leave your hotel/Airbnb early in the morning if you use the carry-on, the wheels make a lot of noise that might bother the neighbors.
The pictures are of the grey one. My friend, Facundo, convinced me to get one as he loved his so much. I did it and the first trip was with him to Puglia. It was the absolute best bag for that trip.
Unfortunately, mine got stolen in 2022, and it was hard to find it online by then. I was checking Vinted daily until someone uploaded one, it was the black version. The grey one was special for me but I was happy with the black one too. One day, someone uploaded the grey one and I got it, too.
