Remarkable 2 Tablet | Pros and Cons

Save it for later!

The Remarkable 2 is expensive but worth every penny if you love writing down everything -like I do. It’s perfect to write things you need to study and want to be perfectly tidy. The best usage is if you want to have your content available on your phone or laptop immediately after you create it. It’s even useful to write down things to help you clarify your thoughts, or to take notes while on the phone.

Things I love about the Remarkable 2:

  • You can mix text and handwriting
  • It really feels like writing on paper
  • The rumor is similar to the one you listen to while writing on paper.
  • Quick reaction to the pencil
  • It’s light and easy to take with you.
  • It’s smaller than an A4, so it’s easy to carry around.
  • You can turn handwriting into text
  • You can edit the size of what you are writing/drawing.
  • It’s perfect to fill in the blanks! Like exercises from your workbook.

Things I don’t love that much about the Remarkable 2:

  • That it doesn’t have a light (like the Kindle Paperwhite, that would be excellent!)
  • It’s super expensive. (To save some money I recommend getting the pencil without the eraser. You can survive without it).
  • The “connect plan” is mandatory. To keep everything online, you’ll need to pay either monthly or annually after the first month. Without paying for it, you miss the most important feature.
  • You see everything in black or grey. You can use images and different ink colors, but on the tablet, you only see different tones of grey.
  • They discontinued the referral program.
  • The number of ads you will see everywhere once you google it. You’re warned.
  • The cover is expensive, and the magnet is not the best.

I would repurchase it, it’s my favorite accessory. I keep it next to my laptop so I can write down as many things as I want without physically turning pages. You can create multiple sheets in one notebook and then move them to other notebooks or folders.

And last but not least, it’s the best tool for procrastinating:

Please let me know if you get it, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Save it for later!

With love
